Meet Our Golf Pro

Aaron is enjoying his second opportunity with The Club at Colony Creek as the Head PGA Professional.  Aaron earned his Class “A” PGA membership in 2005.  In 2008, he continued his PGA education by becoming the 27th Golf Professional in the country to complete all six areas of Specialty Certification through the PGA (Instruction, Golf Operations, Retail General Management, Executive Management, and Ownership/Leasing).

Aaron first got into the golf business at Pheasant Trails Golf Course in his hometown of Dumas, Texas.  He then accepted a position at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas.  He received most of his training at Hillcrest Country Club where he worked under Jerry Cozby (1985 National PGA Professional of the Year).  After 9 years at Hillcrest, Aaron accepted a position at Lakeside Country Club, one of Houston’s top private clubs.  Aaron has been fortunate to work for some of the great Golf Professionals in the business and gives them all credit for who he is today as a golf professional and more importantly as a person.

Aaron has a strong passion for customer service and enjoys taking care of our members and guests.  He is an accomplished teacher and club fitter and utilizes technology such as Trackman and video equipment during his lessons and club fittings.  Aaron has been a part of two different staffs that were awarded Ping Regional Fitters of the Year.  Although Aaron’s club fitting awards have come from Ping, he fits and sells clubs from all the major club manufacturers.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife of 15 years, LaChelle, and his two daughters, Charlotte (8) and Emrie (3).  Aaron also enjoys watching and attending sporting events as well as cooking for his family.
